Ontario County Industrial Development Agency - Sale/Leaseback Assistance Application

Commonly referred to as "the IDA Sale/Leaseback form."

Purpose
Ontario County has the desire and ability to provide benefits to industries interested in locating here or expanding their existing manufacturing or industrial related facilities. This application is necessary in order to compile the information needed to evaluate a variety of projects for tax abatement incentives.

Note: This application is for manufacturing and industrial related companies ONLY.

This form must be signed and sent to the OCIDA office via postal mail for processing when completed (no faxes are allowed). This form MUST also be accompanied by the completion of the SEQR-FEAF form, and the application fee (see page 3 of the PDF form). Also note that the New York State Tax Form (ST-60) is also necessary in the completion of this form. The ST-60 sales tax form is used to designate a project operator or appoint a person as agent of the IDA for purposes of extending a sales and compensating use tax exemption.

The IDA must file a separate form for each project operator or agent appointed, whether directly or indirectly, and regardless of whether it is the primary operator or agent.
