Ontario County’s Board of Supervisors (BOS) provide important oversight to the governance of the Ontario County Local Development Corporation (OCLDC). There are seven members of the OCLDC board, all of whom are appointed by the BOS.
Board of Directors
The OCLDC Board of Directors works with staff to improve the economic condition of the residents of Ontario County in a variety of ways. Applications by the Board are coordinated with the Planning and Research Committee and Board of Supervisors to provide funding for bonds, notes, and other obligations which benefit not-for-profit entities. Audit Committee
The Audit Committee of the OCLDC board meets with independent auditors to help plan for and review the results of the annual audit. Recommendations for improvements in the recordkeeping, reporting and internal controls of OCLDC are also considered by this committee.
Governance Committee
The Governance Committee of the OCLDC board keeps the board apprised of best governance practices and identifies the skills and experience desired of future board members.
Finance Committee
Members of the Finance Committee of the OCLDC review proposals for the issuance of debt by the Corporation and its subsidiaries and make recommendations.
